Highlights within the Citadel includes: Ngo Mon Gate (Meridian Gate), Forbidden Purple City, and Kien Trung Palace, among many more.

A brief visit to the nearby Thien Mu Pagoda, a seven-story pagoda that offers a breathtaking view of the Perfume River and surrounding landscape. Then, board a river boat to cruise along the river, admiring the cultural cityscape.
