On the southernmost tip of Cambodia is the seaside city of Kep, known for its laid-back atmosphere, colonial charms, and the famous crab market. Just a short boat ride away lies Rabbit Island (Kaoh Tonsay), a small, rustic island with simple bungalows, sandy beaches, and clear waters. Together, they offer a great combination of unspoiled nature, fresh seafood, and coastal relaxation.
Cu Chi Tunnels
An extensive underground network stretching over 200 kilometers (approx. 120 miles), these tunnels served as living quarters, supply routes, and hiding spots for Vietnamese soldiers during the Vietnam War. Today, visitors can explore sections of the tunnel, learn about wartime life, and see the ingenious traps used during the conflict. For a small fee, you can also use the firing range, shooting live rounds from guns used in the war.
