Located just outside Bangkok, Damnoen Saduak is the most famous of all floating markets in Thailand. The market is open year-round, with a colorful scene of vendors selling a variety of fresh fruits and Thai street foods from their wooden boats. To beat the crowds and get the best experience, plan to arrive before 09:00 AM.
Cu Chi Tunnels
An extensive underground network stretching over 200 kilometers (approx. 120 miles), these tunnels served as living quarters, supply routes, and hiding spots for Vietnamese soldiers during the Vietnam War. Today, visitors can explore sections of the tunnel, learn about wartime life, and see the ingenious traps used during the conflict. For a small fee, you can also use the firing range, shooting live rounds from guns used in the war.
