A unique Vietnamese tradition dating back to the 11th century, originating in the rice paddies of Northern Vietnam. The Thang Long Water Puppet Theater in Hanoi is one of the most renowned venues to experience this cultural performance.
Cu Chi Tunnels
An extensive underground network stretching over 200 kilometers (approx. 120 miles), these tunnels served as living quarters, supply routes, and hiding spots for Vietnamese soldiers during the Vietnam War. Today, visitors can explore sections of the tunnel, learn about wartime life, and see the ingenious traps used during the conflict. For a small fee, you can also use the firing range, shooting live rounds from guns used in the war.
