Near the small seaside city of Kep is the Kep National Park, a peaceful escape on Cambodia’s southern coast that offers scenic hiking trails through lush, forested hills. Along the way, travelers can enjoy sweeping views of the Gulf of Thailand, the nearby Phu Quoc Island, and the surrounding countryside.
Cu Chi Tunnels
An extensive underground network stretching over 200 kilometers (approx. 120 miles), these tunnels served as living quarters, supply routes, and hiding spots for Vietnamese soldiers during the Vietnam War. Today, visitors can explore sections of the tunnel, learn about wartime life, and see the ingenious traps used during the conflict. For a small fee, you can also use the firing range, shooting live rounds from guns used in the war.
