A cooking class in Hoi An’s idyllic countryside is one of the best ways to experience authentic Vietnamese cuisine. Classes often begin with a bicycle ride towards the local market where you can pick fresh ingredients for the upcoming dishes.
Cu Chi Tunnels
An extensive underground network stretching over 200 kilometers (approx. 120 miles), these tunnels served as living quarters, supply routes, and hiding spots for Vietnamese soldiers during the Vietnam War. Today, visitors can explore sections of the tunnel, learn about wartime life, and see the ingenious traps used during the conflict. For a small fee, you can also use the firing range, shooting live rounds from guns used in the war.
