Located across the city of Hue are the ornate royal tombs of the Nguyen dynasty’s past emperors. Each tomb is built in the traditional Vietnamese architectural style, dotted with beautiful lakes, gardens, and decorative stone carvings. Among the most renowned royal tombs is the Tomb of Tu Duc, Tomb of Khai Dinh, and Tomb of Minh Mang.
Cu Chi Tunnels
An extensive underground network stretching over 200 kilometers (approx. 120 miles), these tunnels served as living quarters, supply routes, and hiding spots for Vietnamese soldiers during the Vietnam War. Today, visitors can explore sections of the tunnel, learn about wartime life, and see the ingenious traps used during the conflict. For a small fee, you can also use the firing range, shooting live rounds from guns used in the war.
